This is a new opportunity for me to journal and share my thoughts. I have been disabled from Lyme Disease for 14 years now, and it has been tough going. The most rewarding aspect of having been stricken with this disease is my spiritual growth and application of the WORD.
I found that the WORD is LIFE! To overcome situations that appear to devastate us, having scriptures in our memory or heart, will help in time of trouble. I found a scripture in Psalm 119:71. "It is good that I was afflicted that I might learn your statues." The key in this verse is the Hebrew meaning for "might learn" which is "to use." So, in essence,
"It is good that I was afflicted that I might use your statues."
